My rant

Heaven forbid a Catholic say something without being called homophobic. We can't speak the truth without being smacked on the knuckles by todays "tolerant" culture. This is what I don't get about those who preach tolerance: They say that we should tolerate others beliefs and practices, but then if we say something they come and attack us. Oh yes, they are the perfect model of tolerance. Can we even move? Can we open our mouths without being told to go sit in the corner with a dunce hat on? And then they say - they being those who attack us.. that we attack them. Oh PUH - LEASE. We must be kind and treat all our brothers respectfully and not harm them, but we MUST, we absolutely MUST condemn immoral behaviour...oh but wait, no! That's intolerant and very vindictive of us to do. Heaven forbid we spread the word of GOD. For example: the other day, Little Flower Academy in Vancouver let go a lesbian teacher who had a teacher. The school was then called homophobic, and that, apparently, "discriminating". Various LGBT groups were asked their opinion on it, as if they were the deciders of morals, and of course they side with the LGBT group. Oh my, what a mess of colours. Is there no sense of sin in the world? No shame? No. I am NOT judging peoples souls here, I am going by what Holy Mother Church teaches. If you die in sin you shall go to HELL. That is not only the teachings of the Church, but COMMON SENSE, which is also a rarity. Now, this is soon to be Christmas, so this is my last rant for a while because I do love to enjoy Christmas. God bless.

Once upon a time...

in a far away land...a little boy was sent to school! In school he was taught that everyone is equal and normal! Everybody is okay the way they were and didn't need to change, and that it's okay to be "different!".  Long long ago, in a-not-so-far away land, "school" was a place that you went to learn the proper Morals and the teachings of the Church, and how to love God! But now, you just get "it's okay to be gay" and "use 'protection'" and "don't wait until your married, just till you're ready" and "everybody goes to heaven" etc...all this crap. Modern day education has the foul odour of socialism and liberalism, and odour which is irremovable! Children's minds are being polluted with hypocrisy and just plain lies. This is an obvious fact, for those who want to see so, whereas others skulls are so thick that the sharpest nail couldn't poke through. Even in Catholic, oh, sorry: catholic schools. For a school to be Catholic it must teach what Holy Mother Church teaches, which I say only about 10% does. Once upon a time, parents sent children to their school hoping and knowing they would learn truths and not lies, though there were the bad apples of the tree. The liberal ideas on modern-day society has become almost the norm in most schools. To be politically correct, to accept all people, to lie, to cheat, to disobey God most high is preached in every classroom! How many schools have you walked into without seeing a stupid, yes, stupid, "Students for Social Justice" or "Students for Tolerance" or one of those idiotic "Young Progressives" signs? I can't name one. Oh yes, and here we go, about this tolerance business. How is this tolerance: Liberals, gays, socialists are allowed to attack the Church and they are praised for it, but if we dare say things condemning them (which we do and always shall for we must condemn heresies and falsehoods) well then we are shouted at, accusing us of being "hypocrites" or "intolerant". If we said things about them well then just imagine the anger that would cause. They are allowed to attack us but we can't try to tell them the truth? Blasphemous. I know why too, because they are afraid of the truth. People want to be considered "normal" and don't we all, but then if they don't agree with the Church (and then they are disagreeing with God) they get all crooked and sulky. We must fight for the truth!
Pray for the Pope!
God Bless you!

The Holiday Season

It must truly be a crime for me to say it...you know what I mean. IT. This time of year, it happens on the 25th of December...here I go...CHRISTMAS. It isn't that hard to say you know. I shall offend a few people here, I know it, and it wouldn't be the first time, nor the second, nor the 10001st. On December 25th, we celebrate CHRISTMAS. Is the word really that scary? When somebody says to me "Happy Holidays!" or "Seasons Greetings" I smile right back at them and say "Have a Merry and Blessed Christmas!". Ooh! The look on their politically-correct faces then! How politically incorrect of me...hey? I haven't a reason in my head why it is called the "Holiday" season, when we are celebrating the birth of our dear LORD and Saviour, GOD HIMSELF, Jesus Christ, being born of the holy Blessed Virgin Mary, to save the world. People say "but Christmas these days is more than just about Jesus"...yeah? Like what? Yes, giving and receiving presents is a beautiful and wonderful tradition! To celebrate Christ's birth! What is more important though? That we celebrate CHRISTmas for what it is...and don't forget to buy a present for your favourite hippy Priest! A gender sensitive corn flake Nativity scene!

Art nouveau

Est incroyablement laid!
For years modern art has infiltrated our beautiful churches, ruining them. I hate that.
Isn't that absolutely gorgeous?

Modesty

In this modern society, we often times see young ladies wearing skirts up past their knees, skirts  and shorts which just barely cover their undergarments, shirts with necks so low you can see everything. We see young boys with their trousers half-way down their legs, so low that you swear that they are just waiting to show off what they are wearing underneath, sweaters and "tee-shirts" with vile profanities on them. We see both men and ladies with trousers so tight you can see the outline of their bones and veins. Today's society needs to be taught about what this little thing called modesty is. If you ask an average 12 year-old what modesty is, they won't know. But, if you ask their 60-year-old Grandmother, well, then you'll get an answer. Modest clothing is for ladies: a skirt or dress which covers the knees and elbows, and with a neckline that reaches the collarbone. For men: a pair of trousers which stays on your waist, or a kilt, and a decent nice-looking shirt with the optional sweater or vest.

Many ladies use excuses as to why they wear such revealing clothes: "oh, well it is hard to find modest clothes" or into the Summer, "It's to hot!". Yea? Well hell is much more hotter.  Men are just as guilty of immodest fashions. Just look outside!

Schools have this notion of "do what you want and you will succeed", and "everyone is equal" and all that bloody claptrap. They don't teach morals, let alone anything useful. And, that is one of the main sources along with the popular media's positive (though I haven't a clue how evil can be positive) portrayal of immodesty.

Good Night and God Bless.

O come let us adore him!

The Blessed Sacrament is NOT just bread. It is the  BODY, BLOOD, SOUL and DIVINITY our OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST.
O Come let us adore him, Christ the Lord!

Christmas

Alot has happened the past few weeks. The press has gone absolutely bonkers on what our Holy Pope Benedict said about condom use, and no, His Holiness did not change the churches opinion on the use of condoms. They are still a moral and intrinsic evil, that will never change. Now, this coming Sunday is the first Sunday in Advent, and the beginning of a new Liturgical year. It is time to get your Advent wreaths out! Light the candles, put up the tree. Yes I love Christmas, and yes, I love Christmas carols...O Come all Ye Faithful, While Shepherds watched their Flocks by Night, Hark the Hearlds Angels Sing, etc... I even like a few of the songs like "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas". Over the next few weeks I am going to Christmas up the blog, and remember....Keep Christ in Christmas, because that is what Christmas is about! The celebration of the birth of our Lord and Saviour!

"Matter of opinion"

As we all know, liberal, dissenting, and progressive groups like to give themselves feel-good names, such as "Community of Hope", "Equality Blessed", "Call to Action"(as if they have a valid cause), "Catholics for Equality", and "Faith and Action" for example. They think they have a valid and worthwhile cause, (which they don't),  and then they try to protest God's church, try to change the truth, and then apostatize the church. These groups get all emotional and serious, and start to get into the sappy stories and then blame the troubles on the church, and by blaming the church, they blame Christ, because the Church is the mystical body of Christ. These people have there way of gaining the support of dissident theologians, "Catholic" politicians, and other "Catholics". Just imagine the reaction of these groups upon the election of Archbsp. Timothy Dolan as President of the USCCB. OH NO! He's conservative! He's orthodox! He is loyal to the Magisterium! Imagine the...the gumption of the Bishops to elect, how dare I say, a CATHOLIC as head of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops! Absolutely ridiculous, isn't it! And here it is...from the "Religion Dispatch"

  • Election of Archbishop Dolan Signals Bishops Will Target LGBT People, Says Equality Blessed
As Marian Ronan noted yesterday, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops' surprise election of Archbishop Timothy Dolan as its president signals an escalation of the USCCB's engagement in culture war issues, particularly those surrounding sexuality and gender.
The leaders of Equally Blessed, a coalition of ["]Catholics["] working for justice [whatever] for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people, put it more bluntly: that it signals continued "targeting of gay and transgender people." [And you tell me that "Equality Blessed" doesn't target the Catholic Church as it's main attack]
The coalition members of Equality Blessed are Call To Action, DignityUSA, Fortunate Families, and New Ways Ministry[See, the feel-good names]. Francis DeBernardo, Executive Director of New Ways Ministry, said in a statement that the election "sends an ominous message to LGBT ["]Catholics["] and our families." Bishop Gerald Kicanis, the presumed successor to the presidency, was "known to be more moderate on LGBT issues, "[as in: he didn't like or care about the truth, the Church's teaching on the topic] said Nicole Sotelo, Program and Communications Director at Call To Action, in the same statement released by Equality Blessed. Dolan's election "signals that the bishops are targeting families with loved ones who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender."
http://www.religiondispatches.org/dispatches/sarahposner/3751/election_of_archbishop_dolan_signals_bishops_will_target_lgbt_people,_says_equality_blessed/
Don't you see, these groups like to single out the Church for trying to stop and not accept impurity, and gravely sinful behavior.  They like to make themselves out as a persecuted and attacked group of people, which they are not. Let me make this clear: HOMOSEXUAL BEHAVIOUR is absolutely mortally sinful, will damn you to hell unless you repent and are absolved of your sins. The person who struggles with same-sex attraction is not sinful in itself. What's wring with today's society is that T.V. shows and Hollywood like to show these people as normal and accepted, and actually promotes their "culture" as ok. The Church teaches that we should not be hostile to those who struggle with same-sex attraction, which is a disorder. Instead, we must tread them with love, for they have a difficult trial in life. But, that doesn't mean we accept the evil behavior. It means we must help them live a celibate life, and help them not give into the evil temptations from the Devil. We must help them follow the teachings of Holy Mother Church.

Not good news...

The very good folks over at Cleansing Fire has informed their readers that St. Thomas the Apostle church in Rochester had it's closing Mass today, something which has become of a "tradition" in the Rochester diocese, headed by Bishop Clark, because within the last 20 years, the number of parishes have gone down from 159 in the 1990's to 123 parishes to this day. It makes me think: what the bloody hell is Bishop Clark thinking! From reading Cleansing Fire - something which I do every day - it seems that Bishop Clark is only closing the more orthodox and traditional churches, and keeping open the "jump-an-praise hubbabalew nun-in-alb prancer pentecostal new renewal flower power churches". Hopefully, this will NOT be their closing mass, as it will remain a consecrated Church! Hopefully, God willing, the decision to close such a wonderful parish will be appealed. My prayers are with the people of St. Thomas today. God Bless them, for they are our brethren.

Please note this post was supposed to post yesterday, but it didn't.

Think and Know.

There are those who like to attack the church, because they think that we worship statues, they think we worship bread, they think we are unfair, they think we are sexist and "intolerant". There is a difference between what one "thinks" and what one "knows". I don't mean "think" as in "he thought about it", I mean think as in "I think that answer may be...". For example, I know that our holy church is the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. Every true Catholic knows that. I know that when the holy Priest consecrates the Holy Eucharist, it becomes the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I know that Our Lady is ever-virgin and ever-sinless, and that she is the Immaculate Conception. How do I know this? Because the Church has taught it for 2,000 years, and what the church teaches is the truth, and the truth is the truth, the truth can not be changed. Sure, some other ecclesial communities and churches share similar beliefs with us, especially valid Churches with apostolic succession like our Eastern Orthodox brethren, BUT, the fullness of the truth can ONLY be found in the Catholic Church.

Addressing a Bishop

A reference

  • In Canada, the UK, and Ireland, Bishops are address as "You Grace" or "His Grace", "My Lord", "His Lordship", "Your Lordship", and "My Lord Bishop"
  • In the US, Bishops are addressed as "Your Excellency", "His Excellency", and "The Most Reverend".
  • In the Eastern church, "His Beatitude", "Your Beatitude", and such are used.
I am used to Bishops being addressed as "Your Grace", "His Grace", "My Lord", "Your Lordship", "My Lord Bishop" and such, which is very much quite fitting. So, knowing this, and knowing that American bishops are addressed as to "Your Eminence", I hope that anybody who wants to address a Bishop properly, (and since many people have asked me), I hope this reference will help!
God Bless!

The rumours are TRUE!

And His Grace Archbishop Raymond Burke is one of them!

Absolute rubbish.....seedspit.

I have NO IDEA how I got subscribed to the "catholics For Equality" newsletter. This time they are saying "You can be "Catholic" and support gay marriage"....oh goodness me.
Look at this bloody drivel, claptrap absolute nonsense.  Daniel C. Maguire (a dissident theologian) is giving a talk on the matter....

Here is what the flier says.

Daniel Maguire is renowned for his informed critique of the sexual theology presented by the clerical leadership of the Roman Catholic Church – a theology sadly divorced from human experience and the insights of the sciences. This is especially evident in the clerical leadership’s stance on homosexuality and gay marriage. Join us on October 21 as Daniel highlights the support for gay marriage that can be found in all the world religions, including Roman Catholicism {so, he is a critic of the truth. He is a critic of God, and God's Holy Church}

Daniel C. Maguire, has a doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University(how he managed to get that, I haven't the slightest clue) in Rome, one of the world’s major Catholic universities. The author of eleven books and the editor of three anthologies, Maguire specializes in religious ethics focusing upon issues of social justice and medical and ecological ethics. He is also the author of some 200 articles in professional journals and magazines, including Theological Studies, Cross Currents, Atlantic, The New York Times, Crisis: Journal of the NAACP, and Ms. Magazine. In 1982 he was listed by Ms. Magazine as one of the “40 male heroes of the past decade, men who took chances and made a difference.” His published books include: Moral Absolutes and the Magisterium (1970), The Moral Choice (1975), The Moral Revolution (1986), On Moral Grounds: The Art/Science of Ethics (1991), The Moral Core of Judaism and Christianity (1993), Sacred Energies (2000), What Men Owe Women (2000), Sacred Choices (2001), Sacred Rights (2003), and Whose Church? A Concise Guide to Progressive Catholicism (2008).

La Sagrada Familia

I did a post on the Sagrada Familia before. The Sagrada Familia is one of the most BEAUTIFUL cathedrals in Europe! The only thing I don't like about it is some of the windows (we'll blame it on the 60's, because Gaudi was a wonderful architect).....well, anyhow, the Sagrada Familia will be consecrated and raised to a Basilica on November the 7th during Pope Benedicts trip to Spain!
This from Zenit.....
BARCELONA, Spain, FEB. 18, 2010 (Zenit.org).- The archbishop of Barcelona is affirming that Benedict XVI expressed interest in an invitation to consecrate the Sagrada Familia Church in that city, though he has not yet confirmed.

The church, designed by Antoni Gaudí, has been under construction since 1882 and is not expected to be completed until 2026.

However, this September, a portion of the building's completed interior is set to be opened for worship and tours.

Barcelona's archbishop, Cardinal Lluís Martínez Sistach, invited the Pope to consecrate the church before it is opened for use.

He reported this Wednesday in a press conference at his episcopal palace, which was held for the beatification of Venerable José Tous y Soler, a Capuchin priest and founder who died in 1871 in Barcelona.

The cardinal stated that "the Holy Father was interested in the invitation because of what the Sagrada Familia is and signifies as a church of the universal genius of architect Antoni Gaudí, whose cause of canonization is under way."

He added that this church, named after the Holy Family, also has special significance "given the extreme importance the family has for the Holy Father, since the good of persons, of society and of the Church are directly related to the protection, defense and promotion of the family."

The Sagrada Familia is a religious monument which has been declared patrimony of humanity. It draws some 3 million visitors every year.

The archbishop of Barcelona clarified that "there is still no confirmation of this trip of the Pope to Barcelona to dedicate or consecrate the Sagrada Familia, as it depends on the Holy Father's calendar of trips."

The cardinal noted that the Pontiff "gives much importance to art, to beauty as a way to God."

He recalled, for example, Benedict XVI's Nov. 21 meeting with artists in the Sistine Chapel, and his address to them that was "very rich in content and very affectionate."

Cardinal Martínez Sistach noted that the Pope affirmed on that occasion that "artists speak to humanity's heart." He asked them to be, through their art, "witnesses and heralds of hope for humanity."

Some wise words from the saints!

Christ said, "I am the Truth"; he did not say "I am the custom."  St. Toribio

Those who commit these types of scandals are guility of the spiritual equivalent of murder, but I', here among you to prevent something far worst for you. While those who give scandal are guilty of the spiritual equivalent of murder, those who take scandal- who allow scandals to destroy faith- are guilty of spiritual suicide. St. Francis de Sales

It is better to say one Our Father fervently and devoutly than a thousand with no devotion and full of distraction.  St. Edmund

We must pray without tiring, for the salvation of mankind does not depend on material success; nor on sciences that cloud the intellect. Neither does it depend on arms and human industries, but on Jesus alone.  St. Frances Xavier Cabrini

Mary was raised to the dignity of Mother of God rather for sinners than for the just, since Jesus Christ declares that he came to call not the just, but sinners.  St. Anselm

O Mary, we poor sinners know no other refuge but you, you are our only patroness, and we all look to you! St. Thomas of Villanova

Whoever loves Mary will persevere-St. John Berchmans

The Cuss-o-Meter

I did not know that it was made by a dating site - those sites are very dangerous. I have heard alot of stories about someone meeting somebody on it, and then they gets killed or raped. I'm half-afraid to have my own Facebook, even though I do.

"Catholics" for Equality

Those "equality" and "respect" and environmental nutjobs are at it again. This time it is the "Catholics for Equality" group. Look at this horrible rubbish. These types of emails have been coming to my inbox for a bit now-I never even subscribed to them. Look

WASHINGTON - Catholic [In name only] for Equality, took action this week as a newly founded Catholic group dedicated to amplifying the voices of Catholics [in name only] who support fair laws for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. First actions included outreach ["outreach". here's a better word: pester]to Archbishop Timothy Broglio, Archbishop for the Military Services in the United States of America and meetings with key senators and Catholic leaders on Capitol Hill, calling for a repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell.[for those who do not know what that is, its a law meaning openly homosexual people can not be members of the military, rightly so]
In a letter sent today, Catholics for Equality, requested a meeting with Archbishop Broglio to address inaccurate and misleading [and in what way where they innacurate and misleading] statements made in a June 1, 2010, statement against the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell. In the statement Archbishop Broglio argued against the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell by comparing gay servicemembers to alcoholics and makes other misleading and false arguments such as, overturning discrimination[It`s not discrimination] in our armed forces would force Catholic Chaplains to perform same sex marriages.
"Archbishop Broglio's arguments are based on outdated concepts not facts,"[outdated concepts, apparently homosexuality being a moral wrong is outdated. Apparently homosexual acts being a morally and intrisic evil is outdated.] says Acting Executive Director Phil Attey. "No legislation would ever be considered that would force a military chaplain to perform duties, contrary to their faith. [Apparently it's your faith too, arent you "Catholic"?] Further, the Archbishop's comparisons of gay people to alcoholics shows a profound ignorance of American Psychological Association and American Psychiatric Association[Both of which had homosexuality as a mental disorder up until the 70's] standards of which every pastoral counselor should be aware." [The two can be equally compared - they are both disorders]
Yesterday, through a lobbying effort sponsored by Servicemembers United, leaders of Catholics for Equality walked the halls of Congress calling on key Senators and Catholic leaders to support the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell.
(L-R) Bill Hillegeist, Rev. Dr. Joseph Palacios, [So there is a priest involved] Michael Holtz, Phil Attey & Dylan Knapp
"Speaking out as pro-equality Catholics [in name only] is so important to the legislative process," [No, it's not. It's sending a false message to the public about the Church]said Former State Legislator and Catholics for Equality Board Member Patsy Trujillo. "We are confident that Senators will honor dedication and patriotism when they see it and are proud to have helped these brave soldiers make sure their voices are heard. Further, we trust our Catholic Senators will vote in their conscience and the will of the pro-equality Catholics in their state, and not the misinformed dictates of Rome."['and not the misinformed dictates of Rome' so, suddenly you know better than the Church? If you are "Catholics" then why don't you follow the teachings of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church? Do you think you know better than God?]Catholics for Equality brought Catholic soldiers, gay and non-gay, representing the spectrum of voices affected by Don't Ask Don't Tell, to tell their stories and put a Catholic [no, it's not] face to the issue. One soldier, Walker Burtschell of Florida, explained how Don't Ask Don't Tell not only ended his career, but almost ended his life.[Oh, here we go...a sob story]
Walker Burttschell
"Being discharged and being outted to my family was just not an option and I felt my life was about to end," said Brutschell. "I was hospitalized at Camp Lejeune's hospital and put on suicide watch. Because of the messages I grew up receiving from the Church, I didn't feel I could turn to our Catholic Chaplain, and instead met with a psychiatrist who I didn't think would judge me the way a priest would. I felt comfortable enough to admit my sexual orientation to him, feeling confident that there existed some form of patient/physician confidentiality. Sadly, it was his comments in my medical records that would out me to the Corps."[Now who is misinformed about the Churches teachings!] (see full story)
"The overwhelming majority of American Catholics support allowing soldiers like Walker to openly serve in the U.S. Armed Forces," said Rev. Dr. Joseph Palacios, a professor of sociology at Georgetown University and a founding board member of Catholics for Equality. "78% of all Americans are for the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell. The most recent survey of Catholics in 2006 showed that 66% of Catholics favored gays and lesbians serving in the military - a number we believe is significantly higher now in 2010."[Who conducted this survey? I bet that the Catholic surveyed were from a place with a large progressive population]
Catholics for Equality will work to provide [in]accurate information and support to Catholic Members of Congress and related religious leaders as they navigate productive ways to be faithful Catholics who defend the freedoms and liberties of all Americans, including our lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender brothers and sisters.

Oh Good Lord, hear our prayers. Most Holy Mother of God, we ask thee, rid the church of this heretical group.

The hurrican knocked out my power for a little bit. It knocked down my fence. The roofes on a few churches flew off -yes, that's right. The shingles came off a few houses. Hundreds of trees fell. A few fires, and tons of places declared States of Emergency. Dear Lord, help us. It's not that bad, though, just we're not used to this kind of weather. It was worse than we had known, Please pray for us.

The great nativity of our Blessed Virgin Mother!

O Mary Immaculate, most sinless and pure, ever virgin. We pray to thee, on thy nativity. Despise not our petitions, but hear us and pray for us. O Virgin of Virgins, most holy Mother of God, pray for us to thy son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Pray for us, of most holy Lady. Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost, one God in three persons. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, unchanging, forever and ever, Amen. Blessed Virgin Mary, pray for our most Holy Father, successor of St. Peter, head of thy sons, Jesus Christ's church, Benedict XVI. AMEN.

A recommended book for todays times.

A good book to read for todays times is "The Book of Confidence" by Fr. Thomas de Saint-Laurent. You can get a free copy from the America Needs Fatima apostolate. It is a beautiful book, and explains how to confidence in God, your faith, the Church. Confidence in the truth.

Also, you can get a FREE 2011 Fatima Calendar from America Needs Fatima!

America Needs Fatima is one of the many wonderful apostolates spreading Our Lady of Fatima's message that are IN COMMUNION with the Catholic Church.

Now, I also needs to find one for Our Lady of Lourdes! When I do, I will post it!
God Bless!

Gather us in

Lets sit around the Lord's table, join hands and get this party on the go! Yay Jesus! Yay Jesus!
That's it!

No, that's not it.

What we see in so many churches today is this crap. All the hand-holding, hippy clicking, clapping, dancing and all the heresies which progressives commit during the Mass....is displeasing to our Lord. Well, they can have their fun...for it won't last long. The Reform of the Reform is here. The progressive priests are just...dying (R.I.P.). Vocations to the most holy Priesthood are increasing, most of them being orthodox, conservative, traditional Priests. Just look at how the more faithful and traditional orders are growing - Mother Anglica's Perpetual Adorers, the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, St. Cecilia Dominicans, the "Pink Sisters", the Anglican Use All Saints Sisters of the Poor, the Adorers of the Royal Heart of Jesus, the Eastern Rite Daughters of Mary, the Sisters of Mary (who, split from the sedecantist CMRI). The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, the Transalpine Redemptorists, the Institute of Christ the King, Sovereign Priest, Inistitute of Christ High Priest, Franciscans of Our Lady of Guadaloupe Monastary...the list is endless.

"Oh! But if we ordained...women...and...married priests... we'd have more vocations" the liberals scream.
They are being proven wrong, though they are wrong in the first place.
Look at the number of Priests now offering the Latin Mass!

The Reform of the Reform is coming!

Michael Coren

Occasionally, I watch the Michael Coren show on CTS, because they debate random, but important subjects. Last time they had a Muslim on--and he said that the Conservative Party of Canada is now the Liberal party...there is no major right wing party which we can vote for. The Conservative, Liberal, New Democratic, Green, and Bloc Quèbecois Parties, are all liberal and socialistic.

Now, there is the Christian Heritage Party. It is a pretty decent party, it is Pro-Life, I know for a fact...but, I don't know much about them.

Anyone else watch?

Come sit at the Lord's table...

"We now invite the children to come sit at the front of the Lord's table"...what's wrong with that? Alot. There a various things that promot dissent in the church.
  • Disobedience to our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI
  • Not following the GIRM
  • Secular music within the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
  • Progressivism
  • Liberalism
  • Progressive Priests
  • A Progressive Liturgy
  • Protestantism
  • "I can beleive what I want"
Is not the Holy Father the head of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic church? The ONE true church of Christ? YES, he is. Obedience is REQUIRED to the head of the CHURCH OF CHRIST, the SUCCESOR of ST. PETER, and to the MAGISTERIUM. We must be faithful and obedient to the Magisterium of the Catholic church, for what the Magisterium teaches is absolute truth, as the Pope has decreed them. And lo, the progressive priests shutter when the Holy Father makes a decree, ex Cathedra, he is infallible.

The GIRM are the, er, "rules" for the Mass. Progressive hooey-wacky Priests like to dissent from it, and make-it-up as they go. Use inclusive language, because, come on, we don't want to offend anyone, now do we? Inclusive language is only offensive to those who have a lack of understanding or reject the proper understanding!

Sacred music, and sacred music alone, which means chants, motets, anthems, hymns, are supposed to be used. Gregorian Chant should be given pride of place! Not Marty Haugen, the St. Louis (not) Jesuits, Cary Landry, or whoeve the hell they are! CHANT. GREGORIAN CHANT. Not "Jesus I am waiting for you, come and take me" or "Halleljuiah! the Messiah is here tonight" or any of the crap that that is. CHANT, like Salve Regina, or Dies Irae, Dies Illa.

Progressivism is the belief that we must be "up with it" and "cool". It is modernism by another name. A progressive up-beat, pop, rock Mass.

The progressive Priest which stress Progressivism.

The progressive liturgy, which makes the Holy Sacrifice look like a theatrical performance, or an Evangelical mega-Church service.

Protestantis fosters progressivism, because the Progressives believe in a Protestant theology, by falling victim to the Protestant idea that "all religions are ok" which is kind of contradictory to the original ideal of the evil Protestant Reformation. They like to have the Mass model a Protestant service. Ever notice that some Anglo-Catholic Mass`are more reverent than our valid and licit Holy Sacrifice?

When we enter the Holy Sacrifice, we enter the divine mysteries of the church! Our Lord Jesus Christ is present before us in the Eucharist! The Mass is the ultimate form of worship! Must it not be done reverently? Orthodox?

Help save the St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Rochester,

For a long while now, the poor folks at Cleansing Fire have been asking us to help St. Thomas church in Rochester. The liberal and progressive Bishop Clark wants to close it because it is a bastion of orthodoxy in the Rochester church. There are no lay administrators, no blue vestments, puppets, lay homilists, just orthodoxy. Please help this wonderful, beautiful, and growing Parish.

Pondering

It came across me for the 100th time today, that, if somebody who considers himself a law-abiding person, and if he breaks the law he will freak and feel bad, BUT if he breaks a church lay -- nah, he won't give a ______(fill in the blank.)

Church, not a factory (though it is confusing)

Church or factory, you decide.
Look at the building abocve. Besides the obvious crosses, would you say this looks like a factory? Or an insane asylum even? This is what the false "Spirit of Vatican II" hath brought us. Now, the above picture is of St. Matthews Church, in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. It is ugly as...as....as..as.....I can not compare it to anything. It is just UGLY.

Did I mention that they are renovating?

Yes. They have a new plan. No better than the original. The new plan removes the crosses from the outside, which makes it now look like a factory.
It disgusts me. That building next to the church is the school. As you can see, it is a very modern building, churches should not be modern looking. OUR CHURCH was known for our BEAUTIFUL ARCHITECTURE, and our WONDERFUL ARCHITECTS to designed them. Now, the AVERAGE CATHOLIC CHURCH LOOKS LIKE A WAL-MART!
There are the traditional churches, which are also plentiful. But, it seems, they are closing. Who is closing them? The Progressive Bishops of their diocese. Now, this is more so true on the mainland of Canada and in the States than anywhere else. Look at England and Ireland's beautiful churches. They were once ours, now they belong to Protestants. But, look at Westminster Cathedral, and St. Mary's Pro Cathedral. Downside Abbey, and St. Patricks Cathedral. Arundel Cathedral, and Ballaghaderreen Cathedral. They are beautiful. Also, look at the English country parish churches. The beauty, and antiquity. Look at the shrine to Our Lady of Walsingham. Now, England and Ireland has their modern ugly churches too, look at Clifton Cathedral.

Churches are supposed to be BEAUTIFUL, but SIMPLE. Simplicity can be Beautiful too! They needs to be TRADITIONAL, like Vatican II called!

"The church was reordered after Vatican II". Wrong. Vatican II NEVER called for a reordering of the sanctuary, nor of the whole church. "Contemporary music" NO. Hippies? NO. Lay people lounging in the sacristy? NO. Dancing? NO. Bands? NO. NONE OF THAT CRAP.

I'd say about 5% of Bishops throughout the world are progressive, correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks be to God that we have a wonderful, conservative, traditional, and did I mention wonderful Pope, His Holines, the Successor of Peter, Vicar of Christ, Pope Benedict XVI.

Please pray for our Holy Pope. Please pray for more churches. Please pray for more Priests. Please pray that tradition will reign. Please pray for the canonization of John Henry Cardian Newman, Pope John Paul II, Pop Pius XII, and Blessed Brother Andre.

Immodesty vs. Modesty

I went to the city the other day. Wow. Fashions can REALLY change.
I nearly puked my guts out.

I saw young girls with denim underwear on (no, they're not shorts). I saw skin-tight jeans on both boys AND girls. I was amazed. What such impurity and immodesty! Now, those fashions are starting to leak into my tiny town! Our Lady of Fatima warned us about these fashions, which will and DO offend our Lord. I see girls with transparent material, and those denim bands which they wear (they call them skirts, but it isn't a skirt if it is above the knee). I am old-fashionedly modest. If it is not below the knee, it is immodest. If the shirt is not within 2 fingers breadth of the neck, than that isn't modest, either. So Pope Pius proclaimed. And that is that.

There needs to be awareness about these fashions. People have lost a sense of modesty, they think that in this world you can wear what you want. No, you can't. They don't even care of custody of the eyes alone preserving their purity and abstinance from sin, abstinence of another type as well.

Please pray for the Church, our Holy Father. Pray.

Graveyard Mass

Ahh, summer. Do you remember my post about the Graveyard Mass with Fr. Liberal? Well, Graveyard Mass was today, and now, with the new Parish Priest, everything went lovely!
The Differences.....
  1. Last yeart, Fr. Liberal did not wear a Chasuble, as "it was too windy; well, this year was even windier, and our lovely new Priest wore a beautiful white-and-gold chasuble. Note, it was windier than last year.
  2. The homily was fire and brimstone. Father preaches about the sins of not attending the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and of not going to confession, he stressed the importance of the Eucharist! That it was not just "a piece of holy bread and wine". He preached that people were putting their souls in danger for not going to Mass, by not going to Confession they were putting their mortal fate in danger. Good for him! Bravo! And the best part is, is that he delivers his BEST homilies when there is a big crowd. Mass attendance has increased since he became vicar. The church looks more orthodox that what once was.
  3. The hymns were not by the St. Lousic (not) Jesuits! They were the Prayer of St. Francis (not contemporary, I can tell you that ), Hail Queen of Heaven the Ocean Star, and sadly, I can not remember the other.
  4. Before Mass he asked everyone to keep a prayerful Silence, as it was the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and NOT a cocktail party.
God Bless his heart. I was so impressed, as were the older folks. Everybody went back to their little salt-box homes thinking of God's love for us, and how we must be careful, and stray away from sin-and from the Devil, the importance of the Mass, and of the Holy Eucharist. Before Mass, the Rosary was prayed.

I am impressed.

No, I am not superstitious!

Nor am I crazy. Here is a not-so-common question: Can things be cursed? The answer is Yes.
You see, people today are so caught up in thinking that they can believe what they want to, and God is ok with that. WRONG. God is NOT okay with that. There is one Church, and one Church only! There is a Heaven and there is a Hell. God is real, real, real. Buddha is NOT real, though he lived once upon a time. Krishna is not real; the Shinto "Gods" are not real; there is no other god except for God himself, who is our Father. God who is the Son, and Sog who is the Holy Spirit. ONE GOD, in THREE DIVINE PERSONS. The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. But, people think they can object to that, people think they can object to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. To quote Kat, from The Crescat "There are two religions. Catholic and Pagan".

Now to get to my point. Items can be cursed.
Genesis 3:17 Yet truly, to Adam, he said: “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten of the tree, from which I instructed you that you should not eat, cursed is the land that you work. In hardship shall you eat from it, all the days of your life. Thorns and thistles shall it produce for you, and you shall eat the plants of the earth. By the sweat of your face shall you eat bread, until you return to the earth from which you were taken. For dust you are, and unto dust you shall return."

The ground is cursed, because of what our first parents listened to the Serpant. Though, people these days, so-called "modern day people, who are accepting and understanding" believe that EVERYONE goes to heaven and will live on a big happy rainbow in the sky, and we will play with God ForEver. This is so wrong, that it makes Bill Maher funny.

Items can be cursed, as well as blessed. Remove those items which are cursed, burn them, dispose of them in some kind of manner. People go the Heaven and people go to Hell. There are good people and bad people.

My dear friends

My dear readers, please excuse my absence from blogging. With the summer months, comes a flock of people who want you to do everthing for them. Pluse, the temperatures are too high to stay inside on the computer, when you could be out side running around, fishing, walking everywhere, discover new places. Yes, I do have an adventerous side. But, most importantly, the Church. I volunteer my time sometimes to clean up outside the church, and with the innumerous amount of tourists, asking information. Helping the Parish. Going to the Lords sacrifice. Which I proudfully, and joyfully pray. But, my schedule has been sky-rocketed. Plus, my dear relative died a few short says ago. A woman, by the name of Margaret. I would ask of you to pray for the repose of her sould, my dear friends. Please forigve me, and within a few days, once I get the mobile-blogging app figured out and what not, I will be back on a normal blogging schedule. I ask ye again, dear readers. Forgive me, for I don't know why people can't do things for themselves in the summer, some people are just really lazy. But, I will not complain, Whenever someone wants help, why not help them. God Bless.

BBS, or sorry, the BBC

Now, I think we should all try to get the BBC (a once-upon-a-tyne) trusted news source, to BBS (British Bull S---[you say it for me, I don't like swearing])Yes, my dear friends. The BBC has betrayed us, again. The I lament for the days when you would turn on BBC and see the Mass from Westminster Cathedral, or a documentary on our dear Holy Father.

Now, look at this twist-of-faith.

The abuse is in the Lutheran church, but yet--they blames it on us.

Maria Jepsen stepped down saying her credibility had been contested.
She denies having known before May this year about a priest in the town of Ahrensburg who reportedly sexually abused boys and girls in the 1980s.
Several cases in Germany form part of sex abuse scandals that have hit the Roman Catholic Church recently.

Maria Jepsen was elected bishop in 1992, becoming the first woman worldwide to hold the post.
"My credibility has been put in question," she said.

"Consequently, I feel that I am no longer able to spread the good word, as I vowed to do at my ordination.
"I expect that the... cases in Ahrensburg and elsewhere will be swiftly investigated and that the truth will come to light."

Maria Jepsen is the third bishop to resign in Germany in recent months.

Roman Catholic Bishop Walter Mixa resigned in April after claims he hit children.
And the former head of the Protestant Church in Germany, Margot Kaesmann, resigned after she was caught by police drunk driving.

Speedy solution
In recent months, allegations of abuse levelled against Catholic priests have surfaced in many countries.

There have also been accusations that Church authorities in Europe and North and South America failed to deal with cases openly or properly.
Pope Benedict XVI himself has been accused of being part of a culture of secrecy, and of not taking strong enough steps against abusers when he had that responsibility as a cardinal in Rome.

However, his supporters say he has been the most pro-active pope yet in confronting abuse.
The Pope pledged in April to "bring to justice" Church officials responsible for abuse.

On Thursday, the Vatican issued new instructions to speed up the handling of the "most urgent" cases of sex abuse by priests, after a series of abuse scandals.
Priests who sexually abuse a mentally ill adult will now be treated in the same way as those who abuse minors.

America Needs Fatima...

and so does Canada. (Hey, that rhymes!). Today in the post, I got a wonderful surprise from America Needs Fatima, an organization in full communion with the church (unlike the Fatima Center). I recieved a wonderful book called "The Book of Confidence" and a huge Prayer card with a beautiful picture of a statue of Our Lady of Fatima on it, which I will frame and hang to the wall. The Fatima Center is also the source of the protest petition, which I urge you to sign, that is protesting the showing of "The Greatest Story Ever Told". They got "Corpus Christi" cancelled due to their wonderful protest against the false truth that is shown in that play. Hopefully, please God, they will get "The Greaest Story Ever Told", that blasphemous play, cancelled too.
